Actually, I was not going to post a blog today as I had no tea to give you all. But how can a day pass without any calamity when you have Marshmallow with you?
Without any further adieu, I'm gonna come to a point. Do you guys remember when Oreo discovered a hole? Well, Marshmallow somewhat pulled that sort of scare on us today!!
The entire day Marshie (also, loving this cute nickname you all gave him) did his usual things including eating (slippers and actual edible food), sleeping, running here and there with no reason at all.
Then around our usual dinner time aka 8:45, I as per our daily routine searched for Marshie to put him out of my room which usually has lots of wires laying around. I searched everywhere for this fellow - below my bed, behind my cupboard, in the forbidden room (aka big momma and big papa's room), even the hole which Oreo went into - but couldn't find him.
Frantically, I ran downstairs to tell mum that Marshmallow is nowhere to be found. To be noted, my heartbeats were off the chart and I might have had a mini heart attack. My eyes were almost teary and I was shit-scared. Both of our minds started thinking of all the possibilities.
Did he sneak out of the terrace again? Which was not possible as the door was closed. Yet we checked.
Did he jumped (*jump) off the little opening in the window and went into the shed? Which was too dangerous at the same time possible. I climbed down onto the shed to look for him but nope.
Did a cat came (*come) and took him? But we were there the whole time. It was not possible.
Did he climbed (*climb) down the stairs and maybe went into the garden? Again impossible as the door was closed. But for the sake of reassurance, I checked every nook of the garden with my phone's torch.
After all these disappointments, we again came upstairs to look again at all those places as the probability of finding him there was high.
Within a flash of a moment, my mum thinks what if he is in that cupboard which she opened earlier. She opens her own cupboard to get the keys and boom. There he was! His little face sneaking out and his paws on mum's clothes rack. I immediately screamed 'Babu' (another pet name of his which my father has given him - he calls me the same too)
I took him out and started crying. Those 10 minutes were so scary. I sat with him on my lap for another 10 minutes. Stroking his fur - which is shedding so much. I hugged him so hard. He too I guess got a little scared as he was licking me too.
Anyhoo, I'm really grateful he was found. He is probably going to get king treatment for the next few days. Such an attention seeker!
How did your day go? Had any mini heart attacks?
